This condo sold at full-price after one weekend on the market. Looking for something similar? We can help.
This new M&Co. listing is so near and dear to my heart, for it belongs to my friend Sarah. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll remember her: She recently got married on a picture-perfect spring day (I was lucky enough to stand by her side!) and then returned from her honeymoon to buy a new-construction duplex with her husband, Daniel (I was lucky enough to represent them!).
It’s been a big year for Sarah, and as I sit to write this post, many memories of her South Loop condo are flooding back to me: her January closing day, co-working at the high-top table, drinking coffee with Bailey’s on Saint Patrick’s Day, opening the front door to Webster flying toward me, talking and drinking wine on the balcony, and watching Netflix (probably Gilmore Girls or Gossip Girl). I know Sarah has plenty more moments she’d reminisce on: cooking dates in the kitchen with Daniel, an engagement photoshoot with Courtney, coming home after work to golden sunsets, many lake walks with Webster, and making the space her own.
Today, Sarah is ready to part ways with her first home. I am honored to help her do it.

Located in the South Loop’s historic & treasured Prairie District, you’ll find 1727 South Indiana #324, a light-filled timber loft with so much to write about: exposed brick, a spacious & private balcony overlooking Indiana Avenue with views of golden sunsets to the west & the city to the north, floor-to-ceiling windows, a cozy gas fireplace, in-unit laundry & lots of authentic charm (like the vintage fire door, painted in cerulean blue for a fun pop of color in the hallway). The kitchen offers stainless appliances, extra cabinet storage & a breakfast bar for meals & entertaining. In the bedroom, you’ll love the closet space & sliding barn door. The unit’s upgrades include recently refinished hardwood floors (2018), complete bathroom renovation (2018), Nest Learning Thermostat, & Nest Protect Smoke/CO Detector. 1727 South Indiana (known to residents as the Prairie District Lofts) is the former film processing factory for the Kodak Company, & each floor showcases architectural drawings that tell the story of the building’s rich history. Visit the rooftop deck to grill out with friends, watch Navy Pier fireworks, or listen to Soldier Field concerts. Lastly, the location cannot be beat. 1727 South Indiana is near grocery stores (Mariano’s is just a 7-minute walk!), public transit, shopping (check out the Roosevelt Collection), restaurants, & all that the South Loop has to offer.
