Had You’ve Got Mail been set in Chicago, I’m sure Joe Fox would feel the same.
Fall in this city is nothing short of magical, and I’ve been busy trying to make the most of the season. So far, I’ve glittered baby pumpkins, carved a crooked smile on a jack-o-lantern, strolled through Fall Fest at the Lincoln Park Zoo, bought far too many pumpkin pie Quest Bars, biked up and down the 606, wandered through the glorious new Restoration Hardware, shopped for boots and drank Oktoberfest beer while watching the Cubs win. And rest assured — there have been plenty of inspections, closings, open houses and showings in-between my autumn adventures.
All I need now is for somebody to send me a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils.
