One year ago, I taught my very first homebuying seminar. I named it on a whim — “So You Want to Buy a Condo” — and rented the back bar at Old Town Social. I still remember the jitters I felt that night. (Not surprisingly, they never fully went away.)
These seminars would come to be the bread-and-butter of my business. Over the next 12 months, I visited phenomenal companies like Havas and Grubhub, as well as hosted events for the public at various WeWork locations. Constantly, I was connecting with potential homebuyers and building relationships. Chris, my go-to lender, taught alongside me all along. I would never have been able to do these events without him.
On November 8th, I hosted another seminar for the public at WeWork’s National Building. This event marked a full year of teaching. 2016 has been so fruitful, and that night, I spoke to a room of people that would (hopefully) choose to work with me in 2017. I was humbled and nervous and thankful.
Thank you to those who have come to one of my events this year. You have no idea how much your attendance means to me. Here’s to another year of seminars.
