Some time ago, I began to dream about what it might look like for MSC to have an office. A place with my name on the door. A place to meet with clients. A place to write and work. A place to drink coffee.
I didn’t share this thought with anyone for a while. It seemed too far out of reach, like something I could have when I was older or wiser.
In late summer, I told my business coach what I wanted.
“But, it’ll never happen,” I said, shrugging my shoulders.
“Why can’t it?”
Thanks to his steady encouragement and Coldwell Banker’s support, I can finally say that my dream became a reality: MSC has an office! It’s at WeWork Kinzie, right in the heart of River North. I’ve been teaching my seminar at WeWork locations across the city for the past two years. Opening up my own office here made all the sense in the world.
On my desk, you’ll find an assortment of things I love: a candle from Courtney, a hand-lettered name plate from MSC Turns 3, an engraved bottle of “30 Under 30” Veuve from my coach. The wall displays two real estate articles from this year (custom-framed by Andrew) and a print from my forever favorite stationary designer. I ordered a Wayfair rug and a West Elm pouf, then finished it off with a gold letter holder from CB2 to display a few sentimental notes and photos.
The MSC office would not be possible without my brokerage, Coldwell Banker. Thank you so much to my managing broker, Andy. And thanks to WeWork for providing a sleek, inspiring space for entrepreneurs (like me!) to flourish.
