Brian

I met Brian through Michael, and right away, I was impressed by his candor. Brian was well-spoken and prepared. He was about to graduate from business school in Chicago, and he was hoping to purchase a condo by summertime. We sipped coffee on a rainy day and talked about the process from beginning to end.

A few weeks later, Brian’s search officially began. We started slow — a showing here, a showing there. But it wasn’t until we walked into a stunning raw space in Wicker Park that Brian knew it was the one. It was a brand-new boutique condo building — “new construction” — and the unit Brian wanted had everything: direct elevator entry, floor-to-ceiling windows, private deck (32′ x 20′), and gorgeous, high-end finishes. It did not take long for him to go under contract.

New construction is an peculiar concept. It offers you a chance to be the very first to live there — a trailblazer, a pioneer! It allows you to customize certain items, like light fixtures and cabinet pulls. And lastly, it gives you the opportunity to be a part of something from the very beginning.

Brian closed last August, and I couldn’t be happier for him. All in one year, he graduated from business school (so, so impressive!) and purchased his first home. Congratulations, Brian. That was all you.
