I loved working with Dan and Kari, from our very first coffee meeting to the closing table. They had been renting in the Gold Coast for some time and were ready to purchase their first home as newlyweds (my favorite kind of buyers!).
Dan and Kari were looking for something special: spacious (at least 2,000 square feet), well-constructed, and maybe even a duplex-up. After a handful of showings and plenty of open houses, they stumbled upon “the one.” It was a duplex-up (!!!) with lush treetop views on one of the most coveted blocks in Wicker Park. They fell in love at first sight. We wrote an offer and beat out a few other buyers.
They closed last June, and since then, Dan and Kari have been making lots of updates. Most notably, they turned a satisfactory kitchen into a stunning one (there’s a “before” photo of the brown cabinets below). I am really impressed by their design choices, and I know the home is so well-loved.
Congratulations to a very kind and patient couple. Y’all are cute, especially in your his-and-hers aprons.
