Elizabeth

April 8, 2020

Elizabeth’s name popped up in my email inbox almost three years ago. She had gotten my name from a friend, and she was curious about the buying process. At that time, Elizabeth was renting an apartment with three roommates, all the while wondering what it would look like to have a place of her own.

We got started on a muggy day in July. Elizabeth had selected a handful of homes to tour, and as it turned out, she fell in love with the first one on her short list. I understood why. This particular unit was on the top floor of a 1920s brick building in Andersonville, and inside, the space felt totally upgraded, from the gleaming dark hardwoods to the marble countertops in the kitchen.

Elizabeth wrote an offer, and the rest of the pieces fell into place. The seller accepted her contract, the inspection went swimmingly, and before we knew it, September arrived. It was time for closing.

Over the years, I have kept in touch with Elizabeth and followed along with her adventures (and drool-worthy food photos) on Instagram. She sent me a bunch of photos last month, and I’m thrilled to share them here. Elizabeth’s home is so uniquely her: alive, sunny, cool, comfortable.

Thanks for sharing, Elizabeth!
