About Melanie Everett & Company
Melanie Everett & Company is a fast-growing independent real estate brokerage. Melanie founded the brokerage in 2019 after several years at a large national brokerage, & we are proud to be a top 15 team by our number of transactions in the first half of 2023. We serve buyers & sellers across all Chicago neighborhoods, as well as the western suburbs.
About Our Next Agent
As our newest M&Co. agent, you’ll be an integral part of our tight-knit team. We love to learn from & support each other. Catch us brainstorming in our monthly meetings over Sweetgreen, attending events together (like our recent pop-up at Green City Market!), & problem-solving in our group chat. Our team follows proven processes that allow us to provide our clients with the highest level of service. When you join M&Co., you’ll be trained in all of this & more.
You might be familiar with our signature courses So You Want to Buy a Condo & So You Want to Sell a Condo. Melanie teaches these classes online & in-person (most recently at Anthropologie!) & we are organically connected to many buyers & sellers this way! You’ll be responsible for representing both M&Co. leads & your own leads from start to finish.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Experienced in Chicago real estate
- Have a car & are comfortable driving around clients
- Positive & fun team player who is collaboration-minded
- Strong attention to detail & organizational skills (must love making a list and checking it twice!)
- Expert communicator & relationship builder – in person, on the phone, & over email
- Conduct business with the utmost integrity & honesty
- Comfortable with technology, including Gmail, Google Drive, & the MLS
