I met Amanda in early March. She’s in charge of Park Community Church’s Lincoln Park singles ministry, and I was eager to get involved. For our first official team meeting, she invited me over to her Buena Park high-rise, where she was renting a unit with a panoramic view of Lake Michigan.
Over the past few months, Amanda has turned into a close friend. She is deeply passionate about her faith, her church and the people in it. She is an influential leader, and I’ve loved working with her on the singles team.
Today, Amanda closed on a two-bedroom condo in Buena Park — just a few blocks west of her rental. Her new place has it all: a sleek kitchen, a balcony, building amenities and lots of space (for me to hang out in, obviously.)
I couldn’t make it to her closing today (hence the lovely screenshot below) but I promise I was there in spirit. Congratulations, Amanda. I’m so proud of you!
