Helping someone find a home is an amazing experience — even more so when that person is your friend. Gilmer and I met at the University of Illinois, and now we both live in the city. He’s been renting in Lincoln Park, but after over a year in the same unit, Gilmer decided it was time to buy.
Gilmer’s new condo is perfect for him. It’s in a vintage mid-rise building in East Lakeview, right next to a Starbucks and close to the lake. I’m already excited for the not-yet-planned housewarming party.
