Matt and I go way back. We met as bright-eyed college kids at the University of Illinois. Matt was a few grades above me, in the same campus ministry, and we quickly developed a friendship. After college, Matt moved to the city, and when I transferred to DePaul University, we connected once more. Having Matt nearby was such a reassurance.
I started out in real estate the summer before my senior year of college — Matt was one of my very first buyer clients. He trusted me to help him purchase a darling condo in East Lakeview. I was a total rookie!
Right around when I met Andrew, Matt met Hanneh. They started dating, and after some time, Matt decided it was time for a change of scenery. He called me about a particular condo in Lincoln Square — a vintage duplex with tons of charm. Matt and Hanneh had seen it at an open house, and they wanted to go back and see it once more.
I’m sure you know the end to this real estate story: Matt listed his Lakeview condo (he got an offer the first weekend!), purchased the home in Lincoln Square with Hanneh, and then he bought a ring. Matt and Hanneh will say “I do!” next year.
Matt, I am so proud to know you and be your friend. I love the updates you and Hanneh have made to your condo (a few before and after photos of the kitchen refresh and bathroom renovation below), and I’m thrilled that you will soon become man and wife.
