Melissa was one of my very first buyer consultations after joining M&Co. and I knew she would be a dream to work with as soon as we started our call. She was confident, so sweet and eager to get started with her home search!
On our first buyer tour we saw a couple of places in River North and Old Town. I quickly learned that Melissa already had her heart set on a particular building, but wanted to see what else was out there. When it came time to tour said building, I understood why this building was so special. The lobby was stunning, the amenities were great (it has its own private park!) and the doorman was so helpful and kind.
We ended up seeing all types of units in the building, but none felt right until the very last one. It had an open floor plan, an updated kitchen and a great outdoor space with a view. Melissa was even thrilled that the bathroom needed some TLC because it would allow her to make some fun changes and make it truly her own.
That same day we started working on the offer and after some negotiations, we were under contract! It took no time for us to start exchanging ideas on how to transform the space and in a few days we were walking the property with a contractor.
Melissa closed on her condo mid May and since has completely renovated her bathroom, added hardwood floors to the master bedroom, installed a fun backsplash in the kitchen and painted her entire place. It’s been so fun getting updates here and there of all the exciting changes.
