I knew Natalie at the University of Illinois, and we re-connected exactly one year ago. Natalie and her boyfriend, Jimmy, were ready to dive into homeownership. They make an adorable pair — both Greek, both career-focused and smart, both exceptionally kind.
In the summer, N+J went under contract on a gorgeous condo in the West Loop. This place had everything: a front balcony, brand new kitchen and spectacular rooftop space (which looks especially spectacular on this dreary winter day). Sometime in between the signed contract and official closing, Natalie and Jimmy flew to Greece and got engaged. I remember asking Jimmy to tell me the story as we stood on the front steps of the building — it was the sweetest thing.
They officially closed on a sweltering day in late August. There is so much on the horizon for Natalie and Jimmy — I was very grateful for the chance to help them with this step in particular.
