Nick & Tess

I first met with this sweet couple at a coffee shop in Lincoln Square, just around the corner from their apartment. Nick and Tess were referred to me by a mutual friend. Like many other young husbands and wives, they were looking for a place of their own: something in their current neighborhood, something charming, something with room for them to grow.

From open houses to showings, Nick and Tess saw quite a few places. We made offers, but as it often goes in the spring, the market was competitive. But these two held on to hope. By May, they were under contract on a gorgeous, vintage condo in Lincoln Square. It had everything they wanted and then some. A bright, sunny living room. Two big bedrooms. A cute backyard with twinkle lights. A farmhouse sink.

Their closing was a joy-filled one, and I’m still so happy for these two. I loved getting to know them, their taste, , and their sense of humor through the process. (Probably the best part of my job.)

Tess sent me some photos of their place in the fall, and then another at Christmastime. We’re a few days past the 25th, but their cozy mantel is just too good. I’ve got to share.
