Prepping Your Home for the Photoshoot
Photos are extremely important to successfully marketing your home! We refer to them as the “first showing” – they have a big impact on if the buyer wants to tour your home IRL.
We place a lot of confidence in our design partner, Leah Gronsman! Prior to listing your home, she will do a design consultation at your home & provide you with a report on changes big & small. We recommend following Leah’s suggestions as much as feasibly possible!
Here are a couple other reminders to help make sure you have a successful photoshoot:
Declutter
- Clear kitchen countertops
- Take fridge magnets down
- Clear bathroom countertops
- Remove shower items
Clean
- Vacuum & mop floors
- Dust
- Ensure closets are tidy
- Windex mirrors
- Wipe down bathroom sinks & counters
Accessorize
- Style shelves & side tables
- Consider putting out fresh flowers or colorful fruit
- Fluff pillows
Prepare
- Open the blinds
- Make the beds
- Fluff couch & bed pillows
- Hide remotes, keys, and other small items
