A Night to Remember: Sales Awards
Last Wednesday night was the Chicago Association of Realtors Sales Awards, an annual ceremony and reception honoring our industry's top producers. This is always one of my favorite real estate events -- a chance to pick out a dress, to congratulate my peers, to take pictures, and to celebrate our achievements from the past year.
Bea, Monica, and Sarah joined me on Wednesday, and we had a ball. As nervous as I was to walk across the stage and accept our award, knowing these girls were in the audience made me feel so supported. Melanie Everett & Company took home a gold for volume and a gold for units -- the first time we've ever won gold for both categories!
After the ceremony, the four of us made our way to the ballroom at Navy Pier. Bartenders served up boozy cocktails, servers circled the space with silver trays of bacon-wrapped dates and miniature crab cakes, lines formed for the decadent carving stations, and a trio filled the space with music. It was loud, celebratory, and oh so fun. I loved being there with my team -- we stopped by the photobooth, chatted with some of our favorite agents and partners, and all in all, enjoyed an evening out together.
