Brigid & John were searching for a home with tons of charm & a few small projects to tackle, too. They found it in their new Buena Park condo – their bay window overlooks historic homes across the street, & they've already tackled 2 dramatic home projects, too.
Brigid & John started looking for their place earlier this year. They were excited to find a place with some charm & they weren’t afraid to tackle small projects, so we got to searching right away! We saw a couple of duplexes that needed too much work & a couple of units that didn’t have enough charm, so the search continued.
As soon as we walked into their new place in Buena Park, we knew it was The One! This home had it all – space to grow, a nice outdoor space, a newer kitchen, a basement for entertaining, & most of all, it had the charm they were looking for (the big windows in the front room overlooking historic homes made for the perfect view!). Aside from it checking all their boxes, they said it felt like home!
They have already started tackling some reno projects & decorating their new place! I absolutely love their new living room ceiling & bathroom wallpaper, & can’t wait to see what they do next!

How many homes did you look at before finding yours? 14
How did you know this was The One? This condo checked off a lot of our boxes: a big kitchen, lots of room for both of us to work from home, pet-friendly so we could keep fostering, space to entertain, and an outdoor space! We also loved that there were some vintage touches but it was enough of a blank canvas so we could add our own personal style.
What is the very best feature in your home? The green ceiling in the front room.
Which room do you spend the most time in? The front room.
