While searching for a second investment property for Ron, Monica found a condo with the perfect location: tucked away on tree-lined Paulina Street, it was just steps to the delicious eats & trendy finds on Clark Street in Andersonville. It needed a little TLC, & Ron was looking to get his feet wet with renovation: it was a match made in heaven!

Ron has been a dear friend for almost 20 years. I am in shock after counting backward while writing this! We worked together at Target while we were in high school. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to have a front-row seat on Ron’s home journey from his parent’s home to apartment living, his first home, to becoming a landlord.

After finding tenants for Ron’s condo in Avondale, it was time to search for his next property. We looked at a handful of properties before coming across this one. The location was perfect — tucked away on tree-lined Paulina Street, steps from all the fun activity on Clark Street.

The listing description mentioned the home needing “some TLC & a touch of design flair,” which was perfect for Ron, who wanted to get his feet wet in renovation. The condo had timeless hardwood floors, a spacious layout, & excellent bones. We had found “the one.”

Ron closed in February of last year. Since then, Ron has definitely given this condo the tender loving care it deserves. Ghosting lines have been replaced with fresh paint & accent walls. The continuous updates & completely renovated bathroom gave this condo a brand-new look.
